Genova Project/City of Busselton

The scope of works include shop detailing, fabrication, surface treatment and delivery of three pedestrian bridges for the City of Busselton: the Buayanyup Drain Bridge, Toby’s Inlet Bridge and Vasse Bridge. 

For transport reasons these bridges needed to be fabricated in several sections. In order to make sure all sections could be assembled without misalignment, we allowed for trail assembly before galvanising. To facilitate this, we made an assembly platform to accommodate each bridge, something we knew would ensure ‘no surprises’ when the pieces of each bridge arrived on site for installation.

Crushing Services International/Rio Tinto

The scope of works included fabrication, surface treatment, modularisation and FOB steel structures. The steelwork packages consisted of modularised conveyor trusses, overland conveyors, structural steel, plateworks (transfer chutes, discharge chutes, hoppers etc). The steel works were fabricated to Rio Tinto’s specifications and relevant Australian Standards.

This project had a very high requirement of welding and surface treatment. All our welders were re-qualified before being permitted to work on this project. Despite delays of over four weeks during the material procurement phase, we were able to meet our commitment to the client without compromising on quality. This project demonstrated our ability to be a multi-discipline fabricator with an ability to handle different types of work at the same time.
